Muluzi's Arrest

When I heard our former Head of State was arrested (Sunday) my first reaction was, "that sounds familiar." I figure now that the first Head of State, Kamuzu was arrested and served a House Arrest Sentence, hence the familiar bit of it. Two different charges however. I cannot begin to pretend to explain to you the charges, I'm not a journalist. Just a word of warning to sensational journalists out there: "No, there are no riots and no this has nothing to do how safe it is to travel to Malawi right now." Some of us are expecting guests from abroad and we'd rather have them now than later so write truths.

On an embarrassing note, I was in the line to catch a bouquet last weekend. I never thought this would happen to me but I actually fell flat jumping to catch the bouquet. I didn't catch it. Was it in good fun or was the there a touch of desperado, this buckaroo needs to go into a quiet room and answer that question honestly. Ahem, facing myself as it were...
End note:

HOW TO STOP PEOPLE FROM BUGGING YOU ABOUT GETTING MARRIED
Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.
