Hmm, my wisdom on relationships

So, not that I'm a guru on love or something but I've had a lot of opportunities to observe, learn... and listen to some rants and all. for all it's worth, this is what has been learned:

1. Some folks are just nasty, they give bad advice, spare yourself the trouble and choose your books, friends (and internet sources)wisely

2. Don't be busy and go around spreading your business nobody gets to know that should know and everbody wants to know that shouldn't know as long as your beating the path down at 500 Km/h

3. Wake up an appreciative person, sometimes game plans don't work, enjoy life, enjoy God, He knows the way to lead you

4. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder (and it's not just the beauty of appearance)

5. Time, never under-estimate the power of NTHAWI, time

Pretty much nothing new but in the midst of the mish-mash hope it helps somebody.

Nomadic Crucible

Hmmm, the Buckaroo thought the biggest contribution to humankind was finally staying put in Malawi and reflecting on the world from the "quiet" comfort zone of Lilongwe City Center...
Wrong. Now I have a ring side view of one of the worlds lead developing nations. Well not actually ring-side, I'm actually within. It will be interesting as I reflect on issues of development in Africa from this end. Congratulations Zimbabwe on your government of national unity and the best of wishes to you. I personally missed hearing good news about you!

Fine, I'm not on another planet. Not even another continent for that matter. It's just that the Buckaroo got so into the life of Lilongwe that an abrupt move to eastern South Africa made me lose my bearings. What would I describe it like? Owing to God's providence, i lived several years in Swaziland when I was a little girl so the similiraties in the Swazi and Zulu language are a great help. The people seem to speak faster now (or is my processing the language a little slower?).

The city I live in reminds me a lot of New Jersey. It's a lot of concrete, a lot of roads, green neighborhoods and lots of rain. I'll live....if only I can concentrate. Focus Buckaroo, focus Buckaroo, say: F.O.C.U.S.
